Blackberry maker buys QNX operating system to get into cars

Audio and automotive equipment maker Harman is to sell its QNX real time operating system business to Balackberry-maker Research In Motion (RIM).
Somehow, the two companies expect this to further strengthen QNX penetration in the automotive market, despite RIM's focus on mobile systems and lack of experience in the market. Much more likely is the proximity argument - both QNX and RIM are based
